GOALKEEPER Tony Roberts revealed how a motivational DVD made by one of the club's backroom staff, Archie Christie, helped Daggers to victory on Sunday.
"We watched a DVD before the game that one of the guys made," he said.
"It was all the highlights from the season and the music got us buzzing.
"One of the Eminem tracks came on before the game, and we thought 'this it'.
"We also had pictures up in the dressing room of all the old Daggers.
"There was the likes of Timmy Cole, Ashley Vickers, Junior McDougald, Shane Blackett, Craig Mackail-Smith, and Tresor Kandol.
"All the players who wore the badge to get the club where they are today.
Just being at Wembley was enough for the veteran Welshman, whose only previous appearance came as an extra on the Mike Bassett England manager film.
He had looked round the hallowed turf the week before the game and even practised his victory celebrations.
"When we came here on Friday, we went up the steps and I visualised myself picking up the trophy. I can't believe I've had my hands on it," said the keeper, the delight etched on his face plain to see.
"We're Dagenham & Redbridge, the pub team from Essex, the dog and duck as people have told us.
"There are a lot of teams out there today who will be envious of the position we're in.
"We're in League One, there's no denying that.
