Dagenham OAP 'dumped' in A&E dies after fall

05 January 2010
AN elderly Alzheimer's sufferer, who was dumped in the Accident and Emergency department of a hospital by his struggling wife, died last month.

Former RAF pilot Ken Baker was left at Oldchurch, Romford, by his wife Barbara in October 2004 with a note telling doctors she could no longer cope.

It is believed the couple travelled from their home in Spain with Mrs Baker leaving her husband at the A&E department and immediately flying back to Spain.
