Three men are due in court this morning charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs

Three men have been charged after more than £8million of drugs were seized by the Metropolitan Police.

Officers arrested the men on Wednesday in Ripple Road, Dagenham. Police also seized drugs with a street value of £8.2m.
John Downes, 51, of Tarves Way, SE10, Kevin Downes, 50, of Wrayburn House, SE16, and Brian Chapman, 57, of Neckinger, SE16, are due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court this morning.
They are charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.
A man is fighting for his life today after a suspected street fight in Dagenham.
