Stillwater report: Before Wagtail Lake at Tylers Common froze over, Paul Davis had a field day with 11 carp to 11lbs.
Match results: Becmain held their February match this week at Pea Lane. Top weight went to John Candy with 78lbs using feeder and maggot.
Second was Terry O’Calcow with 29lbs and third was Terry Bailey on 14lbs. Tony Fizz was fourth on 9lbs and fifth went to Bob Fleming with 4lbs 4ozs.
Becmain Anglers also recently fished again at Pea Lane.
Eddie Nicholls took top spot with a catch of 26lbs 3ozs, with John Patmor second in 24lbs 2ozs, John Candy finished third with 16lbs 8ozs.
In fourth was Mark Willis on 13lbs 4 ozs, in fifth was Will Phelps on 10lbs 7ozs and Sam Davis took sixth with 8lbs 1oz.
They also held their New Year Trophy, which was won by Willis with a catch of 37lbs 15ozs, with Jim Bones second on 32lbs 2ozs and third was Andy Ruggles on 29lbs 8ozs.
Fourth went to Tony Kindred on 11lbs 4ozs, fifth was Mick McCarthy on 8lbs 11ozs.
John Candy took sixth spot with 6lbs 10ozs`.
