National finals now for the schools

Teams from Robert Clack School and Grafton Junior School came back victorious from the recent London Schools Gymnastics Association (LSGA) Regional Floor and Vault Finals.
More than 20 teams were entered across the various age groups, and the under-13 mixed, under-13 boys and under-19 mixed from Robert Clack won their events.
That means they will now go on to represent both their school and London in the British Schools Gymnastics Association (BSGA) National Finals in May.
Grafton will also be represented in the shape of their under-11 mixed and under-11 boys’ teams who also progressed from the competition, which is normally dominated by the private school sector.
The under-13 girls from Robert Clack were in one of the toughest competitions of the weekend, considering their strength lies in the mixed and boys’ competitions.
But they ended the day with a silver medal for their efforts, and ensured that it was their best result in Robert Clack’s 11-year history at LSGA events.
The gymnasts will now look forward to the national finals, and based on last year’s results, all the teams have a good chance of coming back to Dagenham with something for their endeavour.
All the schoolchildren are coached by Catleaps Gymnastics, with the support from Robert Clack School.
Grafton Junior under-11 Mixed: Burrell, Marshalleck, Walters, Tarbard, Richards, Grant, Taiwo.
Grafton Junior under-11 Boys: Saunders, Mark, Masiliunas, Samuel, Walsh.
Robert Clack under-13 Mixed: Mahmut, Sayed, Streeter, Muir.
Robert Clack under-13 Boys: Mahmud, Ibrahim, Saper.
Robert Clack under-19 Mixed: Weir, Elusanmi, Pritchard, Scott.
Robert Clack under-13 Girls: Burrell, Taiwo, Green, Johnson, White, Dalton.
With the London clubs' seasons coming to an end tomorrow it’s time to look back and see which manager has done the best job at his respective club.
